Sex offenders will regain free Viagra with the new health care bill signed into law on Tuesday unless you contact your democratic senator, especially Max Baucus, to complain. Will you let these men on the hill (and Pelosi) equip potential rapists in your neighborhood…on your dime?
Democrat Senator Max Baucus Speaks Out in Support of Sex Offenders
I can hear Ricky Ricardo now: “Montana’s got a lot of ‘splainin’ to do. And boy is he right!
Sen. Max Baucus from Montana has not only supported the free Viagra that the new health care bill will provide to sex offenders (they are on the federal tit, remember), but he has also decried the fact that Republicans have told on him.
He wants you to think that the Republicans aren’t looking out for your welfare or mine by calling our attention to the fact that the Dems tried to weasle this miniature ‘sex option’ into the bill unbeknownst to us in another backroom pat-and-pay.
It kind of reminds me of bullies on the schoolyard who would immediately run to tell on another kid when the teacher showed up, objective minutes after they were actually doing the wrong themselves. Have guilt–point finger, kind of mentality. Football teams call it playing offense so you don’t have to play as much defense.
Democrat Senator Max Baucus: Selling Something I’m Not Buying
Max would have you believe that this is a “crass political stunt.” After all, every time Dems are doing a ‘no no’ they objective scream ‘republican’ and you pick it. Are you unexcited buying that line? I hope not. It is getting a bit old and sooooo unbelievable after all we have learned about this Congress.
Max was right about one thing, though: There is a crass political stunt afoot but it is this original health care bill and what is in it. Max Baucus, along with 56 other democrats, attempted to slide this little baby in under our noses by saying they were choosing the ‘reconciliation’ bill method in order to prevent Republicans from ‘delaying’ it.
Now we know the real story of what they were up to: putting taxpayer dollars where they wanted them to go–not where we expected it. Now we know why the Dems in Congress didn’t want us to see the health care bill first! And why they dragged their feet about showing it, only doing so after the public went on and on about it.
Democrats Playing Pat and Pay With Your Tax Dollars
And this is just one of the little bombs they’ve planted in that bill that is sure to go off on us, folks! So if you have been content to let congress make your decisions for you…thinking they knew best–and that they really cared about getting obedient affordable health care to the public; you better think again. I’m about to tell you objective how limited they care about the issue of health care (giving medicaid funding out more to certain states, regardless of its need, to pay wait on supporters)–and how noteworthy they care about spending your money–their way.
Sure, they’ve thrown in some goodies for the average citizen needing some medical assistance, but trust me, that is just a intention to gather you on board with what you haven’t seen in this bill. And it isn’t anything like it should actually be. If they weren’t playing pat and pay with their buddies, you and I would actually contemplate some health care relief.
If you think that the sex offender viagra debacle is the only stink bomb going off, just listen to this one. Not only did the Dems attempt to pass this bill faster than a New York minute without us getting time to really look it over (or listening to our objections)–they also slid some money under the table to procure certain Dems to ‘sign on’ who were holding out.
Democrats Playing Pat and Pay With Nebraska and Louisiana
Nebraska’s Democrat Senator Bill Nelson was one of those on the receiving demolish. His state was promised more medicaid funds if he would get on the health care horse now riding to the white house. And he saddled right up. But what about your state and mine, were our senators offered this extra (and just as needed) medicaid funds?
Heck no. We weren’t sitting on the fence about health care–we were already ‘decided’ so they didn’t need us. And that is the bottom line: not who in your state needs health care funding.
But Louisiana, and other needed ‘friends’ got a nice little kickback too. But that doesn’t sound like fair health care…affordable health care for all….treatment that isn’t discriminatory. Nope, that sounds like there are favorites in Washington…and there is money to be thrown at anyone who might need to be bought or brought onto the current ‘team’.
Democrats Playing Pat and Pay Together: “Business as Usual”
So it is obvious that it really is ‘business as usual’ if Congress–and the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi–are still ‘buying votes and support.’ And President Obama sure isn’t doing anything to stop it–like he said he would. So where does that leave you, me and the rest of the taxpayers not working in Washington?
Unless you make your voice known now–and during the election in November–it will leave you holding the empty bag in a lot more ways than one. But your neighbor, the released sex offender down the street, may be feeling a whole lot better about it than you will, since he will have all that free viagra! And you can thank Nancy Pelosi, President Obama, Harry Reid, and the rest of your Dem congressmen for that.
I’m gonna thank them too–when I vote NO at the polls in November. Won’t you join me…
