Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred Workout Dvd Results After 10 Days
Previously I wrote about having purchased Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred workout DVD. I will be updated readers throughout my progress with the DVD as to my satisfaction with the workout and, of course, my results. Visit the original review of Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred here.
After 10 days using Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred I can most definitely tell a difference in my endurance from day 1. The workout has become great easier for me, although it is still very intense. I did try level 2 for one day, found out it was a dinky too difficult for me yet, and promptly moved back to level 1 of Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred the following day.
In doing Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred I have noticed a few cons to the workout DVD. First of all, there is a segment at the beginning of the DVD where Jillian tells viewers all about the 30 Day Shred. This was great to view the first time I did the Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred. After 10 days, it’s a little weak. The DVD is set up so this segment cannot be skipped or snappy forwarded. Part of the reason I’m doing Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred is because it is a very quick workout so this time waster is quite annoying.
The other petite con I’ve noticed with Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred is that she uses a bit of profanity during the workout. While “glutes” or “butt” would suffice, she chooses to use another word which I really don’t want my 2 year old to hear. While I typically do Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred when my 2 year ragged is in bed, I would like the option to have it running while he’s around as well.
Okay, enough of the cons of Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred. What are my results? After 10 days of using Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred I have better stamina and endurance. I can now do two standard (male) push-ups, where as the launch of Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred I couldn’t do any. As for weight loss (yes, I know that’s the bottom line here!) I haven’t lost a pound. Not one single pound! It is disappointing, considering I am watching what I eat as well, but I did lose ¾ of an inch around my hips (the area where I carry most of my extra weight) and my body fat percentage went down 0.4%. While my results are not significant, it has only been 10 days, so I am going to stick with Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred and see what happens on day 20 and day 30.
